1. First exercise  -  only down the line
  2. Second exercise  - only cross court

A feeds the ball from the hand and moves towards the net and is playing volleys. A should place the volley only between the service line and the baseline!!!

B plays passing shots but only in half of the singles court. A must go down well on his/her knees otherwise he/she will not get a long volley in!!

Change round after 10-15 minutes  and B plays volleys.

You should  also carry out the exercise cross-court taking the ball earlier !!
